This figure illustrates a flow diagram that is automatically comparing six types of predictive models within SAS Enterprise Miner technology.  Neural networks and decisions trees are among the data mining models being tested to predict the spending behavior of retail clients.  With this knowledge, the retailer aims to increase revenue by improving marketing strategy for different segments of the population.

Graphical exploration is a fundamental step in analytical inquiry and often helps identify areas to investigate further.  In this figure, the visual relationship between multiple clinical measures is being explored using a hypercube within SAS Visual Data Discovery technology.
